Code. Build. Innovate.

My name is Ming, a software engineer based in Honolulu, Hawaii. I specialize in backend-focused full stack development and I'm passionate about creating high-performance, scalable systems that solve real-world problems.

My journey into software engineering began at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science. This strong academic foundation fueled my passion for technology and set me on a path of continuous learning and improvement.

Over the past 8+ years, I've had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects and technologies. At Intercontinental Exchange, I've had the opportunity to contribute to high-impact features, generating six figures in annual recurring revenue. I also engineered a database query optimization framework that reduced execution time from 3 minutes to just 5 seconds.

While at Black Knight Inc., I built a responsive Angular frontend that tripled user interaction and developed a C# MVC application that resulted in a 51.4% increase in user engagement. I am passionate about delivering features across distributed platforms and skilled in API development, CI/CD pipelines, and cross-functional collaboration.

In my personal time, I am the Founder and Technical Lead for LocalMoco, a SaaS platform that offers market research polling services to online businesses. This project has allowed me to lead end-to-end product development, design a scalable web platform using Next.js and AWS, and even integrate OpenAI for automated scoring of responses.
